Meet Your Instructors
Steve Hotra is a longtime singer/musician with with musical roots in Southern California, residing in the Pacific Northwest for 15 years, where he is active in the community as a musical director and developer. His passion is to help students of all ages become better musicians. He is proficient at vocals, lead and rhythm guitars, mandolin, banjo, keyboards and sound mixing. He has over 40 years of "gigging" experience, with his main passion being gospel/ CCM with hints of Americana, country and rock/ folk influences. He has a BA in Communications from CSUF with an emphasis on music for radio, TV and film, plus a strong music theory background, which he incorporates in his lessons.
Deborah graduated with a BA degree from George Fox University. She became the Director of Music Ministries at New Hope in Portland, Oregon. Deborah served as Music & Arts Director at Turning Point for 20 years, then served as Creative Arts Director at Highland CC. She plays piano, guitar, drums, sings, and has directed high school and college choirs. She has produced recordings for herself and others; also putting on concerts and conferences with a group called Undaunted (along with Gerutha Greenidge and Georgene Rice).
Caryn Hart is a Singer/Songwriter from Vancouver, WA. She has over 15 years of music experience with collegiate training in performance choir. She travels throughout the Pacific Northwest as a full-time Performing Artist and an Itinerant Worship Leader. Caryn released her first album in 2014, with her second coming in 2018. She has been teaching in Clark County for the last 1 ½ years. Specializing in: Voice, Guitar, Beginning Piano, Songwriting, Music Fun Time (ages 3-5).

Tiny Tot Music and Movement Classes
In every Music and Movement class, your child is welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where they will sing, dance, and play instruments—all while developing social skills, problem-solving skills, pre-math skills, and a foundation for reading. Our research-based curriculum focuses on whole-child development and helps you understand how your child is developing musically, cognitively, and socially

Have your own customized musical experience! Private lessons are our customers' most popular way to learn. Lessons are offered weekly, and time is decided between you and the instructor to fit your schedule.
Private Lesson Options:
- 1 hour lesson - $199/month
- 45 min. lesson - $175/month
- 30 min. lesson - $99/month
Registration Fee - $35 yearly per student
Group classes are offered at various times throughout the year, typically in 8-week sessions. These classes range across all the instruments we teach. Our classes meet once weekly, but a multiple hour discount is also available.

Show off what you've learned by participating in a music recital! This is a great opportunity to practice live stage performance in a fun, friendly, and totally supportive atmosphere.
Recitals happen about twice a year, and everyone who is part of GN's music program is invited to perform. Participation is optional...but highly encouraged!
