VALENKA HOLLIE

Valenka first found a love for dance in 2004. One day she happened to peek in on a dance team practice at her high school and there she saw who she would later know as Beau Sem. Beau recalls her standing by the doors memorizing every piece of choreography the girls were doing. When approached, she politely turned down his offer to join his team (Remix), but after countless times of running into him around town she decided to give it a try. After training at Groove Nation under Beau’s instruction, she began her Instructor Training and was later given her own classes.  Valenka has been teaching dance and cheer classes for over 8 years now.

She has also trained with the best in the industry from Marty Kudelka (Justin Timberlake Choreographer) to Jeff “Phi” Nguyen (Jabbawockeez member). She has danced and taught workshops in Argentina, Canada, and all throughout the Vancouver/Portland area.

Valenka is very passionate about children as well dance, and is currently attending school for her Bachelors in Elementary Education. She brings great energy to her classroom,  and her love of fitness and kinesiology plays a large role in how she instructs her students.
